Technology is integral to Michigan's Huron Valley Schools' mission to offer student-centered instruction. That's why each school makes video production tools readily accessible to its community. As a result, everyone gets involved with filming school highlights--including students, parents and teachers. To turn these videos into slick video productions, every school equips its computer labs with VideoStudio, Ulead’s powerful, yet easy-to-use video editing software.
Using VideoStudio, this dynamic mix of videographers can readily create Hollywood-like videos to share with students, friends, and family as well as to create a video school archive. Student editors create myriad video highlights from the latest sporting events, to band performances and senior class activities, to world travels. Their productions have become essential, if not expected, in student rallies, meetings and other school events.
Christine Marshall, the student activities director who decided to go with VideoStudio, finds that all of the students enjoy the program because most importantly, "it's easy and fun!"
Marshall first heard about Ulead products from a colleague at a neighboring high school.
