VideoStudio 6 Helps Wrestling Team Win State Championship
"You can capture, edit, encode, and burn right from the same program"
Gary Spicuzza had always made home videos, but he never enjoyed the process and the outcome of movie making more than when he began making movies with Ulead's VideoStudio. Spicuzza began using VideoStudio because it was conveniently bundled with the ATI video card he purchased. He began playing around with his new software and fell in love.
"For an amateur videographer that wants to get the job done well, VideoStudio is by far the way to go," says Spicuzza. Spicuzza makes all sorts of family videos, but is particularly interested in making videos for his son's wresting team, the Countryside Cougars from Countryside High School in Clearwater, FL, who this year won third place in the state championships.
In order to make videos for the team, Spicuzza plugs his 8mm into a video card and then uses VideoStudio to capture different highlight clips, mix in transitions, and add a music track. He then distributes the video to everyone on the team. "The guys really enjoy the videos I make for them and use them for training," says Spicuzza. The videos must be helpful because the Cougars had two state champions this year -- one of the winning wrestler's was Gary's son, Steve.
Spicuzza loves VideoStudio because of the many utilities within the program. "The best aspect of VideoStudio is that you can virtually do everything within the program and you never have to leave. You can capture, edit, encode, and burn right from the same program," says Spicuzza. |
