Ulead COOL 3D Used for 3-D Titles in the Independent Film "Skip the Midget"

"Ulead Cool 3D is an exceptional tool for creating animated, three-dimensional characters on film and video," says Sidney Kassouf, an independent videographer who began using Ulead Cool 3D for Web site titling. He soon discovered, however, that the program created beautiful titles for his video projects.

Starting with the opening credits, Kassouf wants viewers to be hooked so that they watch the entire production. Creating impressive titles using Ulead COOL 3D has helped Kassouf do just this.

Kassouf edited and titled an independent film called "Skip the Midget." This film is about a midget trying to put his life back on track as his career begins to spiral downward. To capture the theme of the movie without giving away the whole story, Kassouf employed Ulead Cool 3D to create the opening credits as downward flying text that spirals off of the screen. "The feel was created from each word independently floating to the center of the spiral," Kassouf explains, "it worked very well."

Kassouf summarizes his experience with Ulead COOL 3D as "the best program for character generation I have ever used."
