COOL 3D Raises the Bar for University Presentations
Charlie Napier, the chief technology officer at the University of Florida Foundation, recently began to learn the depth and functionality of COOL 3D Production Studio, Ulead’s 3D animation video software. Due to his knowledge of computers and software, he was able to jump right into the program and begin creating presentations for the University’s corporate and public functions.
The Foundation is the portion of the University of Florida that handles donations including money, property, artwork, computers and even boats. Charlie is often responsible for creating the Foundation’s internal and public presentations.
Charlie, who describes himself as a non-power user says, “The strength of the product is that you don’t have to spend a lot of training time with it before you can produce great usable graphics.”
He used one of his first video projects to open a meeting. Rather than give the standard speech, Charlie used video as a creative way to call the meeting to order and introduce meeting participants.
When doing his research, Charlie downloaded a trial of COOL 3D Production Studio off the Ulead Web site. He quickly concluded that in comparison to other 3D software, COOL 3D Production Studio was not only easy to learn, but straightforward when it came time to integrate final 3D text and animation into his existing videos.
Now that he is adept at using COOL 3D Studio, his colleagues expect impressive 3D transitions and titles. Charlie has definitely raised the bar for the University of Florida’s presentations.
