- I am installing from a CD. It asks me to insert disk 2 about 3/4 of the way thru install to find file Data3.cab. I inserted the other CD (Studio Editor) but that wasn't the solution. How can I install PhotoExpress 4?

- Copy all files on CD into your Hard Disk and then install Photo Express 4.0 from Hard Disk.
- Where can I get thousands of pictures in PhotoExpress 4?
- Please reinstall using "Custom" installation and select all sample photo types. All type of photos in CD folders will be installed with PhotoExpress 4 program.

- How can I solve the error about Scanner not connected - for USB
- There are several possible reasons for this problem:
- Hardware
Be sure the scanner is connected with the machine properly. If your scanner is USB scanner, you should check whether it install properly on your computer by using Control Panel->System-> click "Device Manager" Tab, you can check if your usb hardware connect well here. If it show up exclamation,you should check the connection and contact hardware manufacture for this.
- Scanner driver
Be sure that the scanner driver is installed and configured properly .
- Scanner Power
Be sure that the scanner power is on when you start up the computer.
- Specify the input device from "Select data source" drop-down list, then click "acquire" to obtain an image.
- Why PhotoExpress could not detect my digital camera?
- If your digital camera is USB DEVICE, please connect it to computer and power on the digital camera and switch to mode for PC connection. Then it will appear as a removable drive icon in the My Computer window. Open PhotoExpress, click File > Open, select removable drive to brows the photos.

- Why there’s no Crop function that I saw in Trial version?
- Actually, Photo Express 4.0 My Custom Edition only provides basic features for image editing. So it has less function than Digital Studio Edition. Since trial version is base on Digital Studio Edition, you may not find some features in you’re My Custom Edition. Photo Express 4.0 My Custom Edition doesn’t have crop feature. You can try the following work around:

- After you made a selection by Selection Tool, you can drag the object into thumbnail strip. Right now, it will become another image and only the portion that you want
- If you want to crop photo as fixed shape, use Edit-> Adjust->Trim and select the shape you want.
- you can resize it by Edit->Adjust->Rotate and Resize to resize the object.

- What can I do when Next button won't highlight during installation?
- You have to fill out all 3 fields, Name, Company, and Serial number. If you left any field blank, the next button won't highlight.
- When I try to print my photos, four red lines appear in the preview. Why does this happen? Will they actually be printed out?
- The red lines are the printing margins for your printer. These margins are at the top, bottom, left and right edges of the page and vary for different printers (information of printing margins is provided by your printer driver and cannot be changed). For example, the bottom margin is a little higher for ink-jet printer than for laser printer. If your image is out of the printing margins, it may not be printed out properly. No, these lines will not be printed on the final printout.
- Where can I get more templates and content? I seem to have trouble downloading it from Ulead Links/Get Content.

- When sending a web card as an HTML Email, it does not send out with success, nobody can receive this web card. How can I fix this?
- Please try updating this mailtool.dll under your Photo Express 4 installing folder, for example the default is installed in "C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead Photo Express 4.0”.
