PhotoImpact 5

Two minor problems exist for PhotoImpact 5:

  1. The Visual Open dialog box will not automatically keep the last folder opened as default.
  2. In PhotoImpact Album, exporting thumbnails and then creating a new album will cause an Album.exe failure.
These problems will be fixed in version 6.

MediaStudio Pro 6.0

There is only one known problem using MediaStudio Pro 6 on Windows 2000:

Video Capture's Device Control and Video Editor's record back to DV camcorder functions might not work properly within some computer configurations. Download the patch to fix this problem.

NOTE: The driver of your video capture device must first support Windows 2000 in order for MediaStudio Pro 6.0 on Windows 2000 to function correctly.

Ulead VideoStudio 4.0

There is only one known problem when running VideoStudio 4.0 on Windows 2000:

The Capture Still Image function doesn't work.

Ulead COOL 3D 3.0

Ulead COOL 3D 3.0 is fully compatible with the Windows 2000 platform, except in the following three areas:

  1. The Wingdings character ,located at coordinate Row 5 - Column 14, cannot be inserted into Ulead COOL 3D 3.0. This is a Windows 2000 bug because this character cannot even be inserted from the Windows Character Map dialog box.
  2. Autorun.exe file will not reopen after the user selects the www.ulead.com URL or the tutorial link from the Autorun.exe window. This will not occur for any other link in the Autorun.exe file. To reopen the autorun.exe file, please select "Run" from the Windows Start Menu. Select "Browse" and locate the Autorun.exe file on your CD-ROM drive. Then select "Open" and "OK" to rerun the autorun.exe file.
  3. RealPlayer will not automatically download the RealText 3D plug-in. To solve the problem you can:
Step 1: Create a new document and insert text.
Step 2: Under the File Menu, select the Export to RealText 3D command to preview the final file in your default browser.
Result: An error message will show that the RealText 3D plug-in is missing and will ask you to reinstall the RealText 3D components again. Normally, RealPlayer should download the RealText 3D plug-in automatically.
Solution: This problem does not occur for all computers that run Windows 2000. But it sometimes does happen. To manually install the RealText 3D plug-in, please open RealPlayer 7 from the Program Group. Select the "Check for Update" function under the Help file menu. Under the "Update is Available" window, select the check box by the "RealText 3D plug-in" and select the "Get it Now" button to manually download.
