What is the difference between the product Serial Number and Technical Support ID?
A:

The serial number is for the boxed version and the technical support ID is for online download version.

Where is the serial number?
A:

For the Full Retail & Upgrade Versions: The serial number should be included with the registration material. Alternatively, the serial number is sometimes located on a sticker affixed to the back of the CD case or package.

You can also check the About Ulead... dialog box in the Help menu for the serial number.

For Hardware Bundled Versions:Please check the About Ulead... dialog box in the Help menu for the serial number.

Where is the Tech Support ID?
A:

To find your Technical Support ID: Open your Ulead product, and click on "Help: About ...' dialog box for all Ulead products.

If the Ulead product you have is the Online Download version and released in September 1999 or later, the serial number is located in the 'Help: About...' dialog box for all Ulead products.

Q:
How can I register my scanner, digital camera, video cameras etc.?
A:
If your Ulead product came with hardware such as scanners, digital cameras, video cameras etc., please contact the hardware manufacturer directly to register your product.
Q:
I want to upgrade but I do not have a serial number.
A:
Ulead products do not require a serial number entry when you upgrade. When you install the upgrade, you must have the previous version install to complete the upgrade installation.
Q:
I want to register my COOL 3D Production Studio but I cannot find it in the product list.
A:
Ulead has changed the name of COOL 3D™ Studio to COOL 3D™ Production Studio. All the features remain the same, only the name has changed. You can choose COOL 3D Production Studio from the list and register your product.
