Q:
I received an error message when installing a Ulead product. How can I install the program completely?
A:
  • Please visit the Ulead support pages and check the Product FAQs. Some products have patches for the installer, which you may need for your particular operating system.

  • If you downloaded a product from the Ulead site, please make sure you downloaded the file completely. You can check that the download was complete by comparing the downloaded file size with the correct file size described on the download Web page.

  • Before installation, please clean up your temp folder i.e. C:\Windows\Temp folder (or C:\Temp folder for Windows NT.) Please make sure that your C drive has enough free disk space for the download. We suggest you always keep at least 500MB free disk space in your C drive.

  • If your product was from a CD-ROM, try creating a temporary folder in your hard drive. Copy the entire content of the CD, including all folders and files. Then, run the setup.exe file from your hard drive. If this does not solve your installation problem, try installing the CD-ROM on another PC to make sure the CD is not faulty. If it is a bad CD, please contact the vendor for a replacement or contact our customer service representatives.
Q:
I cannot find the serial number, or my product did not accept my serial number. What should I do to continue installation?
A:

Usually the serial number can be found affixed on the CD case. Please read our Serial Number FAQs for more information. However, if your product came bundled with hardware, you may not have a serial number. In such cases, Ulead will announce the serial number in the Product FAQs section on our Support Web pages.
