PLUG-IN MADNESS II & III 3.5 Compatibility Patch (English version only)

If you purchased Plug-in Madness II or III under an older version of Ulead COOL 3D and recently upgraded to 3.5, download this patch so you will be able to install your plug-ins.

Please follow these steps to enable compatibility:

1. Download the ZIP file from one of the above four sites.
2. Unzip the ZIP file.
3. Install "PiMPatchforC3D35.exe" first.
4. Install Plug-in Madness II or III.
5. Install "PiMHelpPatchforC3D35.exe".

NOTE: The Plug-in Madness II & III 3.5 Compatibility Patch is for those who purchased the plug-ins before purchasing or upgrading to Ulead COOL 3D 3.5. If you have 3.5 and recently purchased Plug-In Madness II or III, you do not need to download and install this patch.

Flash Output Pack for Ulead COOL 3D 3.0 (English version only)

Flash Output Pack features:

• Output to a raster-based Macromedia Flash (*.swf) file format.
• Output to RealNetworks RealVideo (*.rm) file format.
• The new Flash Output Pack also includes an update that now allows COOL 3D 3.0 to output 32-bit AVIs with alpha channel transparency, perfect for fast video overlays.
• Private file output that is compatible with MediaStudio Pro 6.5.

To install the Flash Output Pack, download and run the .exe file from one of these 4 sites. Once you've installed the Flash Output Pack, see the Read Me file for information on how to use the Flash Output Pack with Ulead COOL 3D 3.0.

NOTE: The Flash Output Pack is for the English version of Ulead COOL 3D 3.0. If you have other language versions of Ulead COOL 3D 3.0 you can download & install this Pack, but your program will be converted to English.

Ulead COOL 3D 3.0 Update Patch (for German, French, Japanese versions only)

Problem solved by this Ulead COOL 3D 3.0 patch: This patch will fix a problem with the Custom Bevel plug-in in the German, French, and Japanese versions of Ulead COOL 3D 3.0, in which the plug-in will not generate the bevel shown in the preset.

To install this patch:

1. Download the appropriate language version from the FTP sites above.
2. Close the Ulead COOL 3D program.
3. Run the patch.

Once you've installed your download version of Ulead COOL 3D 3.0, you'll need to download additional free components to complete your program. We've included the Help and Presets files below.

How to Install Help Files:

Download the appropriate language version. Run the .exe file, and your Help files will automatically be installed.

How to Install your Presets:

1. Download the 3 .exe files from the links above.
2. Run each .exe file (studio.exe, bevel.exe, ucd.exe) which will automatically unpack your presets as .uez files.
3. Open Ulead COOL 3D 3.0. Right-click on ANY thumbnail in your EasyPalette, and choose "Import".
4. Import your new .uez files one at a time. Your new presets will automatically be installed in the correct folders.

Ulead COOL 3D 2.0 Update Patch (for all language versions)

Problems solved by this Ulead COOL 3D 2.0 patch:

1. Rendering problems with the "Times New Roman" font - some letters (for example, the letter k) cannot be rendered completely.
2. The "Exception 10H" error for video codec and printer driver.

To install this patch, simply download and run the .exe file from one of these sites.

Ulead COOL 3D 2.0 for NT4 SP4 or above Installation Patch

Problem solved by this patch: The Ulead COOL 3D 2.0 CD-ROM version can't be installed on NT4 SP4 or above.

1. Insert your Ulead COOL 3D 2.0 CD into the CD-ROM device.
2. Run the appropriate .exe file for your language version:
