Q:
 Why can't I create my animation as GIF animation file? The product (SE version) I'm using is coming from my purchased hardware device?
A:

This is a limitation of bundled (SE) version, and you can get it by upgrading to the full version. For the info of upgrade version, please refer to this page: http://www.ulead.com/store/cool3d/upgrade.htm.
Q:
 I just upgraded to the COOL3D 3.5, but I can't install the Plug-in Madness 2 and 3 with success. Is there something that I need to do to fix it?
A:
 Please try the following:
  1. Download this patch file "PLUG-IN MADNESS II & III 3.5 Compatibility Patch (English version only)" from http://www.ulead.com/tech/c3d/c3d_ftp.htm
  2. Unzip the ZIP file.
  3. Install "PiMPatchforC3D35.exe" first.
  4. Install Plug-in Madness II or III.
  5. Install "PiMHelpPatchforC3D35.exe".
NOTE:
  1. Please make sure that you have followed the above five steps to enable compatibility. Please don't mix the steps, otherwise, it will not work correctly.
  2. Once you finished the installation, please ensure that you have restarted your computer to enable the registration info.
Q:
 How can I import or export the .uez file?
A:
  1. In your Ulead COOL 3D EasyPalette, right click on any thumbnail. Select Import, and import your *.uez files one by one. The files will automatically install in the correct folder in your EasyPalette. Once your files are installed in the EasyPalette, you should be able to see the new thumbnails in each folder.
  2. Likewise, to export the .uez file, just right click on any thumbnail within the EasyPalette, and then select "Export" from the drop down list to open the "Export Thumbnails" window, and save it to the destination folder.

 Do I still need to download a patch to output Flash™ movies
A:

No. Version 3.5 offers total Flash™ output. Create vector-based Flash™ movies in EnVector, or detail rich, raster-based movies in the main interface.

Q:
 What is the Wireframe button?
A:
 The Wireframe button instantly changes an object into wireframe for faster animation preview or output as an effect. All or parts of a creation can be placed into wireframe mode. The number of lines in the wireframe can be set in the Object Quality tab, with Draft producing the fewest lines and Optimal bringing a mesh effect. The same rules apply in output settings.
Q:
 Can I add the Text Wave effect to objects?
A:
 Yes, but the outcome will not exactly be the same as displayed in the presets. If you add a Text Wave to an object, adjust and preview your work accordingly.
