Mark Dileo, Author
Mark graduated from Rutgers College of Engineering in New Brunswick in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering. After turning down a free ride to obtain his PhD at University of California, Berkeley as a graduate teaching assistant; he decided to try his hand at environmental engineering in northern New Jersey. A year later, he took his leave to pursue a career in the music business. Fifteen years later, he remains the manager and bass player for Hyperactive, the popular and lucrative New Jersey-based band.
Mark began tinkering with Ulead's MediaStudio Pro about six years ago and naturally, quickly grew to understand the intimate details of every computer and program component. In no time, this interest grew into a business: local school districts hired Mark to produce videos selling their new school referendi.
Having learned MediaStudio Pro so well, Mark was able to write a detailed review of it, published on the MatroxUsers.com website. He also received mention for this work on the Ulead website. From engineering to lifeguarding to music to video editing, the one constant in Mark's life is his undiminished drive to do the highest quality work, while incorporating technology and creativity.
