Q: How do I use the Quick Task Launcher?
A: The Quick Task Launcher is a great starting point for anything you want to do with your photos. It comes up each time you run Photo Express and when you click on the “home” button in main program interface. Tasks are organized into four categories: Browse, Edit, Create and Import. You click on a category and then on one of the individual tasks or projects in that category. The Quick Task Launcher gets you on track fast.
Q: Will my plug-ins from version 4 work in version 6?
A: No. Photo Express 6 comes with the features from the Photo Express 4 - My Plug-Ins already built in. You don't need to install Photo Express 4 My Plug-ins in Photo Express 6.
Q: How do I input photos in Photo Express?
A: Photo Express 6 lets you get your photos from almost anywhere! With the Get Photo function in Browse Mode and Photo Mode, Photo Express allows you to acquire photos from scanners and digital cameras, DV camcorders, PC cameras, video capture boards, online processing service centers, Kodak Picture CDs, CD-ROMs, Web pages, and files on your computer.
Q: What's Browse Mode? How does it help me organize my photos & multimedia files?
A: Browse Mode is your best friend when it comes to finding and sorting your photo, audio and video files.
Browse Mode
The Windows Explorer-like folder directory tree makes it simple to organize all your files and folders. Sort your photos by date, file size, file type or alphabetically. Drag & drop files and folders within Browse mode. Use the visual thumbnail display to view the first frame of your video. You can even play audio, video and animated GIF files within Photo Express.
