Creating panoramic images and applying pan & zoom effect
You can create breathtaking videos from your panoramic pictures like the ones you see on travel shows. Use Ulead COOL 360 to put together your panorama then use the Pan & Zoom feature in VideoStudio to apply that moving effect on your panorama.
In Ulead COOL 360, create a project file. In the Options Panel, click the New Project button to display the New Project Wizard dialog box. Select Wide angle image in Project type and then enter a Project name.
Click Next to add the images. In the succeeding step, specify the camera or camera lens used in taking the photos. Click Finish.
Switch to the Adjust Step where you can retouch your photos. Click the Finish Step and then save your project as a JPG file.
Import the created panorama into VideoStudio so you can apply a moving effect.
Switch to the Edit Step. To load the panorama into the Library, click . In the dialog box that opens, locate the JPG file and click Open.
Drag the JPG file from the Library to the Video Track in the Timeline.
In the Image tab, select Pan & Zoom and then select the desired effect. Click Customize.
In the Pan & Zoom dialog box, click the Start tab. Drag the Start key frame, represented by the left crosshair in the Image Window, to the subject you want to focus.
Click the End tab. Drag the End key frame, represented by the right crosshair in the Image Window, to the right-most part of the image.
Click to preview the effect and then to apply the effect to the image, click OK.
