Setting your favorite video as a Movie Screen Saver


Personalize your desktop computer by setting your favorite video as a movie screen saver. Before you start this tutorial, download the sample video.


To set a WMV file as a movie screen saver:

  1. Go to the Share step then import the video file you downloaded earlier in the Library.

  2. Select the video file then click Export - Movie Screen Saver. The Display Properties dialog box will appear with the video file as the selected screen saver.

    Note: You can only export WMV files as screen savers. If your video is not a WMV file, insert it in the Timeline then go to the Share step. Click Create Video File then select WMV.

  3. Set how much idle time must pass before your computer launches the screen saver in Wait.



  4. Click OK to apply the settings.
You have successfully set a video file as a movie screen saver. With this feature, you can share your favorite party, vacation, or home video whenever you walk away from your office computer. Let your colleagues enjoy your screen saver as they pass by your desk.
