Manage and share your photos on the web

Do you have tons of digital photos that you want to organize and post online for family and friends to see? Creating web albums of your favorite photos in PhotoImpact is so easy. Let's try it now...

To create a Web Album:

1. Click File: Share - Web Album.

2. In the Select Image dialog box, browse for the location of the images to be included in the album, choose the file type and click OK.

Tip: Keep all the pictures you want to include in your web album in a single folder. For quicker loading of web pages, choose images with small file sizes. It is recommended to convert your images to the JPG/JPEG/JPE file type to save on your allotted web space.

3. The Export to Web Album dialog box is diplayed. In the Output tab, select the destination and the HTML file name of your web page.

Customize the look of your web page by changing the settings in the Page Setup, Thumbnails, Image and Description tabs.

4. In the Page Setup tab, customize the labels of your web album. Type in your title tag, heading and footer in the text boxes provided.

5. In the Thumbnails tab, customize the appearance of the thumbnails in your web album.

6. Set the file dimensions of your images in the Image tab.

Tip: For better-looking photos, decrease the compression quality.
To save on web space allocation and upload more photos, increase the compression quality.

7. In the Description tab, choose the layout and other details to be displayed with your picture.

8. Click OK to save your web page.

You can also click Burn Disc to burn your web page onto a disc or Preview to show view how your web page will be displayed.
