Creating your own Animated Emoticons - Yapping Dog Emoticon
In GIF Animator
Step 2: Select File/Add Image (INS) or use the Add Image icon on the Standard Toolbar. Select the first dog image and open it. Then go to Add Image again and Select the second dog image. This time ensure you also select "Insert as New frames" (at the bottom left of the Open dialog box). You should now have two dog images in the storyboard.

Step 3: If you want to reduce the file you can click on the Optimize Tab to do so. Try playing with the number of colors in the animation and see how small you can get the file without much of a quality loss. Then click Save at the bottom right of the preview screen to save it as a GIF animation file.

Step 4: Go to your Instant Messaging program and import this GIF animation into your library of icons. Send it to your friends.
