Creating a Logo with Text and Polygon Shape
Step Four: Frame the Logo
Now, let's frame the object by adding a basic geometric shape. This is the easiest part of the project. In Continue Draw mode, select one of the preset shapes, in this case, a rounded rectangle, and drag the cursor on the workspace to create it. Make sure it is big enough to contain all elements of your object, and then adjust its position in order to center it. Return to 2D Object mode to see the results of your work.

As a finishing touch, you can turn the framed logo into a 3D object, add a border, and apply any of the effects that can be used with path objects. Here, we changed the color of the logo and made it 3D by selecting 3D Object as the mode. Both settings can be found on the Attribute Toolbar of the Path Drawing Tool. To add sparkle on the "i", we selected Effect: Lighting - Creative Lighting and applied the Lens Flare effect.
