Scanning Multiple Images Using Photo Explorer

Set scanning preferences

  1. Click File: TWAIN Acquire - File Setup. Select the image format that best suits your purpose. If you plan to share your images on the Web or via e-mail, you can choose either GIF or JPEG.

For now, choose JPEG file interchange format (JPG) from the File type for saving drop-down list.
  1. In the File naming pattern box, enter a file name to use for the batch of photos you are scanning. If you grouped your photos based on certain categories such as date taken, event, or location, you may use these in naming your files.
For example, if you are scanning Asian travel photos together, enter asia. Click OK. Photo Explorer will automatically name the photos in this specific batch as asia0001, asia0002, asia0003, and so forth.
