4) Once Photo Explorer is finished scanning the CD, go to the Folder Pane and expand the folder called CD Catalog. You will see your new virtual CD folder and all the corresponding sub-folders. At this point you have only scanned the CD for the folder structure. With the CD still in the drive you can click on a virtual folder to generate image thumbnails. In this example I clicked on the folder called '1K composed JPG' and allowed Photo Explorer to generate all the image thumbnails. The thumbnails in that folder are cached for future previewing. You can continue to click on other folders in order to generate thumbnails for that folder.
5) If you wish to generate image thumbnails for every folder on the CD, then a faster way is to go to the View Menu and select Scan Tree. Photo Explorer will then automatically scan all folders on the CD and create image thumbnails for every folder.
