| Virtual CD Catalogs - Scan CD
The new Scan CD function is a great way to keep track of all your CD image collections. Photo Explorer 8.0 will search for images on a CD and create a virtual image catalog that you can browse and preview without having the CD in the CD-ROM drive.
1) Insert a CD with image and/or media files into your CD-ROM drive.
2) In Photo Explorer 8.0 go to the View Menu on the Standard Toolbar and in the drop down box select Scan CD.
3) The Scan CD dialog box will appear. Enter a Title for your CD, choose the Drive you want to scan and then click on Start Scan. Photo Explorer 8.0 will now take a few seconds to scan the folder structure on the CD.
