Step Two : Editing

When done, close Video Capture and open Video Editor and select the appropriate HDV preset when asked for Project Settings

Now you can use Insert/Video File and import your clips into the Library and on to the timeline, and edit as you would any other format. You may even include footage and materials in other formats. However, if you include stills, be sure that they are sized correctly for a 1440 x 1080 screen, and if you include, say, DV footage shot at 4:3 aspect ratio, it needs to be converted to 16:9.
