Creating a Rolling Text (Movie Credits)
 

  1. In the Fly Animation dialog box, use the following attributes:
  • For Start unit, select Text
  • For End unit, select Text
  • For Pause, select No Pause
  • Click the up arrow for both Enter and Exit


  1. Enter a name for the new effect in the Effect text box (e.g. Rolling Text). Click Add. The effect is now added to the Fly Animation Gallery. Click Cancel.
  1. Click in the Preview window to see how your end credits look like.

    Tips:
  • If you want to preview the end credits on an external output device, click then select the output device from External Output Device.
  • Click Background video if you want to preview the title clip with the media clip (e.g. video) on the timeline.


  1. Click OK.
  1. Place the title clip on an overlay track at the desired position on the timeline. Stretch the title clip to the desired time duration by dragging the edge of the clip.


You have just created a rolling text effect that you can use for the end credits of your video project. The rolling text effect that you have just created has been saved in Video Editor allowing you to use it for your other video projects.
