Adding Props

Photo Express 4.0 - My Scrapbook Edition contains hundreds of clip art objects that you can cut and paste into your scrapbook to spruce up your pages.

This tutorial shows you how to add and manipulate decorative props.

Creating a blank scrapbook page

Let's start by creating a blank page on which to place the props.

1. Select File > New > New Template.

2. In the New Template dialog box that appears, select a layout type. For this tutorial, we selected Portrait.

3. Select a standard paper size from the Standard drop down menu. We selected Letter 8.5 x 11 inch.

4. Click OK.

The new blank page will open in the workspace, and you will automatically be switched to Project mode.

Adding props to your project

Now let's find some interesting clip art.

1. On the Menu Command Bar, select Edit > Decorate > Props. The Options panel displays the thumbnails of available props.

2. From the Category drop down menu, select something that interests you. The props for that category will open.
