GIF Animator: Basic Tutorial
Step One: Creating/Choosing your images:
For those of you out
there who are artistically inclined, feel free to create your
own images. For those of you who are not, I offer the following
frogs:
The first thing you'll
need to do is save all of these images to a folder where you
can easily retrieve them. They will be easier to use in GIF
Animator if you save them in the order you are going to
view them. Also, it's helpful to give them names that tell
you what order they're in. (e.g. frog1.gif, frog2.gif, etc.).
In this example, you'll want to start with the frog on the
right. To save him into a folder:
- Right click image.
- Select Save Picture As
- Create a folder or put it into
an existing folder.
- Name it (frog1)
- In the File Type field,
it should say "GIF (*.gif). If it doesn't it, click
the arrow next to the field, find GIF, and select it.
- Press OK.
Repeat this process for all five images.
