Replacing existing colors

The first thing you will learn is how to replace existing colors with another color or a gradient fill.

To replace existing colors with another color:

  1. Select the color or colors you want to edit. To select multiple colors, press [Shift] or [Ctrl] then click the colors you want to edit.
  2. Click Edit Current Cell , and then select one of the color pickers from the pop-up menu. For this tutorial, select Ulead Color Picker.



  3. Select the replacement color in the Ulead Color Picker dialog box and click OK.

To replace the currently selected cell with the closest matching Web safe color, click Snap to Web Safe Color.

To replace existing colors with a gradient fill:

  1. Select three or more colors that you want to include in the gradient fill. The more colors you select, the more noticeable the gradient will be. Press [Shift] or [Ctrl] to select multiple colors and click Create Gradient Palette.


  2. The starting and ending colors are displayed in the Gradient dialog box.
    NOTE: If you want to replace the starting and ending colors, click the color boxes and select the desired replacements in the Ulead Color Picker.
  3. Click OK for now.
