Step 1: Add Video and Insert Chapters
You can add videos and insert chapters to your project. Chapters will serve as your movie's entry points, which viewers can instantly access using the menu you will create.
To add video to your project:
- In the library, select the Video library then click
 .
- In the Load Video File dialog box, locate the video then click Open .
- Select the video from the library and drag it to the title list in the Content Window.
Creating Chapters:
When creating chapters, the first frame of every video in your project is automatically placed in the Chapter list.
Tip: Select Locate I-frame in the Options Panel to search for I-frames within a GOP using the Navigation Panel.
To insert Chapters:
- Select a video title from the Title List.
- Use the Navigation Panel to scan the video title.
- For each scene you want to use, click Add Chapter in the Options Panel. The displayed frame will be added to the Chapter List.
NOTE: You can insert up to 99 scenes from a single video title to the Chapter List.
Tips:
- To automatically insert chapters to the Chapter List, click Auto Add Chapters. Select By Scene Detect if you want to add chapters based on shooting date or time or frame content. Select By Fix Interval if you want to add chapters using a fixed interval.
- To delete a chapter, select the chapter in the Chapter List then click Delete Chapter in the Video tab in the Options Panel.
