Creating custom navigation buttons using another image editing program |
- You can create your navigation buttons using another image editing program. After creating your navigation button, save it in the PSD file format. If you used two or more objects to create your buttons, merge them as a single object first before saving it as a PSD file.
- When you open the file in PhotoImpact, the Open PSD File dialog box opens. In the dialog box, select Open each layer as an object.

- In the Layer Manager, change the object name to the type of button you created. Refer to the table below for the names to use:

- Before saving the file, check if the base image is showing. To check, select View: Base Image.
- Select File: Save. Save the image as a UFO file.
