Creating masks for your menu objects using PhotoImpact
Using an Edge frame from the Frame Gallery in the EasyPalette
Select File: New - New Image. For the size of the image, use a size that has an aspect ratio of 4:3 (e.g. 400 x 300 pixels).
Select Selection: All then select Selection: Convert to Object to convert the selection into an image object.
Open the EasyPalette by clicking in the Panel Manager.
In the EasyPalette, select Galleries: Frame Gallery. Click "+" to open the available galleries.
Select a frame from the Edge Frame Gallery then drag it to the new image. You will only see the outline of the edge mask. To see the edge mask clearly, select Edit: Fill. The color you use does not affect the properties of the mask.
Open the Layer Manager by clicking in the Panel Manager.
In the Layer Manager, select the mask object then change the object name to Scene.
