Usually displayed at the
bottom of the screen, subtitles allow viewers to read the dialogues being delivered
or its written translation in another language.

Using
DVD MovieFactory, you can effortlessly add subtitles to your movie by importing
subtitle files with *.srt file extension.
Begin by creating a subtitle
file for your videos. These files can be created using third-party applications
and should be saved as an SRT file.
Step 1: Importing the subtitle file
1. Once you have all videos in your Media Clip List, click Edit Subtitle to display its dialog box.
2. Select Import subtitle file .
3. Click and browse for the SRT file to import.
4. Click Open.
Step 2: Customizing subtitles
Under Text format in the Edit Subtitle dialog box, you can choose to change your subtitles’ font face, size, style and alignment.

To change font color or add border and background, modify options in Text color according to your liking. Click OK when done.

Click one of the buttons in Alignment to set subtitles on the left, center or right side of the screen.

Step 3: Viewing subtitles
Subtitles are automatically displayed in the Preview Window of DVD MovieFactory’s workspace. To hide subtitles, click Show/Hide subtitle.
