Part 6: Changing transition effects in Effects tab

In the Effects tab, you can add or change transition effects by selecting from a wide variety of presets and applying it to your project in a few clicks. Below are just a few examples.

Checker	Diagonal	Stagger	Split	Twist

To change a transition effect in Effects tab:

1. Select the first crossfade transition on the Video track and click Add/Change Effect . The Effect dialog box opens.

2. Select F/X in Select group and select Dissolve.

2. Click OK to replace the previous effect.

3. A message box prompts you to confirm. Click OK.

The transition effect is modified.

Repeat the same procedure to change all Crossfade effects to Dissolve.

Tip: Another way to change an effect is to right-click the effect on the Video track and select Insert Effect.
