SmartScene menus use both text and thumbnails while sharing a single large preview area.

NOTE: The SmartScene Menus type is not supported in Straight Capture to Disc projects.

Applying a SmartScene menu template for your project

1. In the Setup Menu page, select the menu to modify in Currently displayed menu.

2. In the Gallery tab, select SmartScene Menus category in Menu template.

3. Click a template layout thumbnail to apply it.

Ulead DVD MovieFactory allows you to customize SmartScene menus or create your own menu templates.

1. Click Customize in the Edit tab of the Setup Menu page to open the Customize Menu dialog box.

2. Double-click a Navigation Button preset thumbnail to apply it.

3. Click Background music or Background image/video to add music and background image.

4. You can rotate text in the Preview Window using the rotate handle. To modify the text description, select the text and click Font Settings.

NOTE: When working in the Customize Menu dialog box, use the Font dialog box to accurately resize text. The Font dialog box can also be launched by right-clicking the text and selecting Font Attributes.

5. To apply Pan & Zoom effect, click Pan & Zoom. Select your desired effect.

6. To set menu motion filter effects, click Motion Filter. Select your desired motion effect.

7. To modify menu in/menu out effect, click Menu In/Menu Out. Select your desired menu in/menu out effect.

8. To save the menu template for later use, click Add to Menu Template.

9. Click OK.
