QuickDrop offers "drag and drop" disc burning capability that makes it so easy to burn data, audio, and video files onto CDs and DVDs. In this tutorial, we will try a simple drag, drop, and burn task.

Before we begin, let us have a quick look at the user interface.

NOTE: The program automatically loads when Windows starts up. You can change this, however, by clearing Auto load when Windows starts in the Preferences dialog box.

Device shows the drive letter of your detected burner. Clicking the Burn button starts the burning process. The Size bar indicates the amount of data to burn.

The Burn data disc, Burn audio disc, and Burn video disc icons determine the type of disc that you will create. To select a specific format, click the drop-down arrow in Output disc format.

For example, when you click Burn video disc, you can select to output either in DVD Video, VCD, or SVCD format. Likewise, when you click Burn audio disc, you can select to create either an Audio CD or MP3 Disc.

For now, let us select MP3 Disc to quicky create an MP3 audio CD. Remember, it only takes a couple of steps!

Step 1: Drag and drop your files

Drag and drop your MP3 files or folders onto QuickDrop. Press [Shift] or [Ctrl] to select multiple files. The Size bar shows the amount of data you have compiled.

Step 2: Burn

When you have dropped at least one file or folder, the Burn button is automatically enabled. When all your files have been compiled, click this button to start the burning process.

There you have it! Imagine all the time and effort that you can save by using this simple drag, drop, and burn feature from QuickDrop!
