Converting Audio Files to MP3
When you are getting ready to create an MP3 DVD, you need to make sure your audio files have been converted to MP3 to ensure the final process goes smoothly.
To begin converting files, for the purpose of this tutorial, we will click on the MP3-DVD selection in MovieFactory. If you choose from the other 3 types of DVD creation, you will still have access to the conversion tool.
Ripping from CD
First, find the audio files you want to convert by clicking on the appropriate icon as pictured below.

By selecting Rip CD Audio Tracks to Audio Files, you will be given the chance to select the source drive from the drop down menu.
Once you have selected the drive where you are capturing your CD music, choose the tracks you want to convert.
Then, browse to find the folder you want to save your newly converted music to. Once that is selected you are ready to choose your media format, in this case choose MP3 from the last drop down menu in the window.
Now when you import music from a CD, you can see that there is no music info, click Get CD Info from Internet, and now you can access the internet data base to get the title info of your favorite music files:

After grabbing CD Info
You can rip each song one by one, or rip the entire CD. Choose one of the options. Depending on the speed of your computer and how many songs you have chosen, this can take a little while.
When you are done ripping from your CD, click Close at the bottom right of the ripping window.
If you have converted all the files you want from CD, you are ready to move on to the next step - burning your music DVD. Or, you can continue by converting music files on your computer.
