Quick-Drop Desktop Mode

What are Quick-Drop Desktop Icons?

Quick-Drop Desktop Icons provide a simple solution to burning discs, playing, and editing media with box-like icons that automatically display on the desktop. Simply drag files to the floating quick-drop box icons on your desktop. Each box has multiple functions, like performing a task directly, showing an action button to proceed, or displaying the current progress status in percentage.

Play box - Allows you to drag media files like video, image, and music into this box. The Preview Pad will open and playback will start immediately. You can also drag and drop files directly to the Preview Pad, capture video and images, and switch TV channels (if you have a TV tuner card). Right-click on the icon for a drop-down menu.

Video box - Allows you to drag video or image files into the box to burn video or slideshow discs immediately. You can also connect a TV source, DV camcorder or digital still camera to the computer. Then just click the red button to start burning. If you want to edit the content first, double-click the Video box to open Ulead MovieFactory. Right-click on the icon for a drop-down menu.

Data box - Allows you to simply drag files into the Data box, and click the red button to start burning. If you want to edit the content or set up options, double-click the Data box to open Ulead Burn.Now. Right-click on the icon for a drop-down menu.

Music box - Allows you to simply drag music files into the Music box, and click the red button to start burning. If you want to edit the content or setup options, double-click the Music box to open Ulead Burn.Now. Right-click on the icon for a drop-down menu.

Copy box - For disc-to-disc copies, put a writable disc in your burner, drag the source drive letter in Windows Explorer to the Copy box, and click the red button to start burning. If you want to edit the content or set up options, double-click the Copy box to open Ulead Burn.Now. Right-click on the icon for a drop-down menu.

Sync box - This is used to synchronize the data between a portable disk (such as an MP3 player or flash disk) and a hard drive to maintain data consistency. Right-click on the icon for a drop-down menu.
