Basic animation tutorial using the Animation Toolbar

You can create 3D animated shorts using COOL 3D™ Production Studio. In this tutorial we will create a 60-frame animation of a space fighter plane moving through space. We will use the Animation Toolbar, the Timeline, and Key Frames in conjunction with different settings found on the Properties Menu.

The Animation Toolbar

  1. Open COOL 3D™ Production Studio and create a new project.


  1. Make the animation 60 frames long, then make sure that it is set to the first frame (1/60).

  1. In the EasyPalette expand the Scene node and select the Video Background. Select the Space background.
