Using Particles to enhance animation

  1. Lower the Color Variance to 5. We don't want the Birth to deviate too much from the color we set it to.

  1. Changing the speed of particles directionally.
  2. We want a small flame that doesn't move very fast and moves mainly upwards. Change the Emitting Speed.

The first column of numbers indicates the base speed that the particles will move at while the 2nd column indicates the range of acceleration or speed that the flame can grow and shrink.

Make a small flame that grows upwards at a speed from 1 to 5.

    Set the Emitting Speed as:

 X  0  +/-  0
 Y  1  +/-  5
 Z  0  +/-  0
  1. The Dragging Force refers to the drag of accompanying particles that occurs when a particle moves in a direction.
  2. The first column of numbers indicates depth and the 2nd column indicates the range of depth.

Remember, we want to create a small flame that moves upwards only.

    Set the Dragging Force as:

 X  0  +/-  0
 Y  5  +/-  5
 Z  0  +/-  0
