Although there are preset flame styles in the Particle Effects menu located in the EasyPalette, we will insert a generic flame into our project. This will give you a broader understanding of how to control particle effects by changing its attributes.
To insert the generic Particle Effect for Fire. Click Object > Particle Effects > Fire
The below samples are of frames: 1, 15, 30, 45 and 60.
Hitting the button on the Animation Toolbar, we see that the fire is way too big for the lamp.
Let's alter the Particle Attributes to make the flame look like it is contained within the lamp.
To edit the Fire, make sure that the Particle Fire is selected in the Object List.
