8. The Lathe Editor will render the cross section of the champagne glass on an axis to create a perfectly symmetrical object. Since champagne glasses are neither gold nor opaque therefore in the next two steps we will change the color of the object and then set the transparency.

9. If the Attribute Panel of the object is already open then pull down the dropdown menu to select Color, otherwise open it up under the Object Menu under Properties > Color…

    Select the Surface Color button. This will open up the Color Panel.
