Materials

• Teacher materials as necessary for lessons on different aspects, and personnel of the school
• Computer with Ulead VideoStudio software and word processor
• Storyboard templates
• Camcorder, and related equipment
• Blank Tapes, CDs or DVDs
• Presentation equipment

Procedures and Approximate Times for Completion

1. The teacher will conduct lessons on different aspects of the school. (2 hours)
2. Each team will conduct their research using print, multimedia, and Internet resources. (2 hours)
3. The teams will synthesize their research into a storyboard and write their script. (2 hours)
4. The teams will videotape, capture, edit and author their PSA. (2 hours)
5. Each team will present their video, and answer any questions from the class. (5-10 minutes per team)
