PhotoImpact is the perfect tool to turn your digital camera into a powerful resource for PowerPoint presentations. The following tutorial demonstrates how you can turn digital photos in to savvy PowerPoint graphics quickly and without the assistance of a graphic designer. Instead of using rectangular photos in PowerPoint slides, PhotoImpact lets you cut photos into interesting shapes with transparent edges.
Acquire Camera Photos Easily
Connect your digital camera to your computer or insert a memory card into your memory card reader. PhotoImpact automatically detects the device and launches the Digital Camera Wizard to transfer your photos to your computer. Click on the Start button when ready to transfer.
The PhotoImpact Browse Manager opens to full screen, displaying the photos just transferred. Double-click on the file name part of the thumbnail to change the name of the photo. Double-click on the image part of the thumbnail to open the photo in PhotoImpact's workspace.

Correct & Enhance Photos with ExpressFix
Click on the ExpressFix button in the Standard Toolbar.Or, select ExpressFix (F10) from the Photo menu.
